I have paid for and have had this program for several years. Now after a windows update polar navy says my free trial is over?

What do I do? Pay again?

PolarView version 2.0 used activation codes, with each activation specific to a combination of hardware and operating system. Replacing operating system resulted in a new installation that required a new activation.

Version 2.0 has been discontinued for several years and activation codes are no longer available.

Current version 3.0 uses account-based licensing that is not specific to a computer.
