connected to two networks simultaneously
connected to two networks simultaneously

Hi -- I'd love a little help with the following.

I have a Macpro running MOJAVE and use PN through a
vesper wifi to get NMEA data. But I would also like to
connect the Mac to a verizon jetpack.
Do you have a good idea how I can do both? That is, run polarnavy with the
vesperwifi and chrome with the jetpack?

Thanks JM

This question is probably best directed at Vesper wifi device manufacturer. Whether this is possible depends entirely on what network configuration they support.

ok -- I asked them too. But I wonder if PN allows the possibility of designating the source of
the incoming NMEA data. Thanks

PolarView does not put any restrictions on the source of NMEA data.

That is to say - if PolarView is set up as a UDP listener on an "any" (0.0.0.0) IP address and a defined port, UDP packets from any sources will be accepted by this port.

Similarly, if PolarView is listening for incoming TCP connections, any host that can reach the machine on which PolarView is running, will be able to connect.

This is a common TCP/IP stack behavior, not specific to PolarView.
